Every Thanksgiving, the **HTX Basket Brigade** brings together volunteers, partners, and community members to provide full holiday meals to Houston families in need. This year, our goal is our most ambitious yet: **to serve 1,000 families of four** through the Houston Independent School District’s wraparound program.

We cannot achieve this mission without the support of corporate partners.

### First Wave: Food Distributor Support

Right now, we are reaching out to food distributors and suppliers to secure **in-kind donations of essential food items**. Each basket includes enough to provide a full Thanksgiving meal — fresh produce, pantry staples, and festive sides — all delivered directly to families’ homes or trusted community partners.

We are asking for **In-kind donations of any single item** that can serve as a core part of the meal. By donating one product in bulk, distributors make it possible for us to stretch resources further and ensure consistency across all baskets.

### How You Can Help

- **If you represent a food distributor**: we’d love to speak with you about donating staple food items.
- **If you have connections** at companies that supply or distribute food, please share this opportunity with them.
- **If your business would like to get involved in another way** — from sponsoring additional items to helping fund logistics — we’d be happy to discuss partnership options.
