Thanks to our incredible community, this was not just an accomplishment but a testament to the power of compassion and teamwork. ### **Breaking Down the Numbers** - **Families Supported**: 572 total - **At-Risk Families**: 250 families identified by HISD wraparound specialists as being at risk of going without a Thanksgiving meal. - **Volunteers**: 79 dedicated individuals who showed up ready to work, smile, and serve. - **Delivery Trucks**: 2 fully loaded vehicles headed to two distinct locations to ensure meals reached those in need. ### **Efficiency in Action** Our build day was a flurry of activity, energy, and purpose. We are proud to share that we hit our goal of completing the entire build process before 11:00 AM—a huge feat that speaks to the incredible organization and effort from everyone involved. Every onion, pan, box of stuffing, and sweet potato found its place, ensuring each family received a complete, hearty meal. ### **Looking Ahead to 2025** This year’s success only fuels our ambition for next year. Mark your calendars for **Saturday, November 22, 2025**, when we’ll gather again to make an even bigger impact. With your continued support, we’re confident we can set even higher goals and continue to spread the joy and gratitude of Thanksgiving to families across Houston. ### **A Heartfelt Thank You** To our volunteers, partners, and donors: thank you. This achievement would not have been possible without your generosity, time, and effort. You are the heartbeat of the HTX Basket Brigade, and together, we’ve shown that a community united can overcome any challenge. Let’s carry this momentum forward, inspired by the difference we’ve made, as we plan for another successful year of giving. Stay tuned for updates, opportunities to volunteer, and ways to contribute. Together, we’ll ensure that even more families can celebrate the warmth and joy of Thanksgiving in 2025. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at HTX Basket Brigade! ## Related posts [![](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/hs-fs/hubfs/photo-3.jpg?height=200&name=photo-3.jpg)](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/10-corporate-sponsors-needed-how-companies-can-transform-houstons-thanksgiving) ## [10 Corporate Sponsors Needed: How Companies Can Transform Houston’s Thanksgiving](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/10-corporate-sponsors-needed-how-companies-can-transform-houstons-thanksgiving) ![Picture of HTXBasketBrigade](https://app.hubspot.com/settings/avatar/13ec2f9f48d96a5f45c23d48bd22111b) [HTXBasketBrigade](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/author/htxbasketbrigade) Nov 5, 2024, 6:00:00 AM Join HTX Basket Brigade: Help Us Transform Thanksgiving for 500 Houston Families As Thanksgiving...
