But while most of Houston is focused on tricks and treats, here at the **HTX Basket Brigade**, we’re already stirring up something even more magical: **Thanksgiving joy for hundreds of local families**. Every Halloween, while others are carving pumpkins, we’re carving out time to **plan, pack, and prepare**. Why? Because there’s nothing scarier than a family sitting down to an empty table on Thanksgiving Day. This year, our goal is **over 600 families served** — and with your help, we can make sure every household gets the ultimate treat: a warm, home-cooked meal shared with love. So, how can you help before the clock strikes midnight? 🕸️ **Be a Ghoul-Friend!** If you’ve donated before — thank you! You’re the “boo-st” behind our success. We couldn’t do it without your hauntingly good hearts. 🕷️ **Invite a New Spirit to Join the Fun!** This Halloween, we’re calling it the **“Plus One Potion.”** When you donate, bring along one new friend, coworker, or neighbor to give too. Every new donor helps us double our magic and reach more families. 🦇 **Get into the Spirit!** Start a mini-fundraiser at your office or host a pumpkin-themed bake sale. Share our mission on social media — it’s frighteningly easy to make an impact! 🍁 **Remember:** Our volunteers don’t wear capes (okay, maybe on Halloween they do), but they *do* bring hope, one basket at a time. This Halloween, skip the tricks and give a treat that truly lasts. Together, we can turn fear into cheer and make this Thanksgiving one to remember for hundreds of Houston families. So grab your broom, summon your friends, and let’s make some *boo-tiful* memories — because kindness never goes out of season. 🧡 **Donate. Share. Inspire. Repeat.** htxbasketbrigade.com [Donate](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/tag/donate) ## Related posts [![](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/hs-fs/hubfs/htxbasketbrigade.com.png?height=200&name=htxbasketbrigade.com.png)](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/uh-track-team-back-to-help-the-basket-brigade-reach-600-families) ## [UH Track Team Back to Help the Basket Brigade Reach 600 Families](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/uh-track-team-back-to-help-the-basket-brigade-reach-600-families) ![Picture of HTXBasketBrigade](https://app.hubspot.com/settings/avatar/13ec2f9f48d96a5f45c23d48bd22111b) [HTXBasketBrigade](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/author/htxbasketbrigade) Nov 3, 2025, 11:00:00 AM When it comes to teamwork, heart, and hustle, few groups bring it like the University of Houston...
