Together, we’ll prepare 305 Thanksgiving baskets for Houston families—and we’d love for you to be part of it. **Join us Wednesday, November 18, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 PM at the Houston Texans YMCA, 5202 Griggs Road, Houston, TX 77021.** ## What will the evening look like? We’re gathering at the YMCA to turn the food and supplies into Thanksgiving baskets ready for families. Volunteers will work together to organize items, pack bags, and help get the completed baskets into place. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning for another year, there’s a place for you. Come with friends, family, or coworkers and spend a couple of hours helping bring this year’s effort to life. ## What happens after we pack? The completed baskets will stay at the YMCA, ready for coordinated distribution through our community partners. Wednesday’s volunteer evening is focused on assembly, so you can help prepare meals for families without taking on a separate delivery route. ## How can you help? Start by [registering to volunteer on our website](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/volunteer/). Signing up helps us plan the evening and keep you informed. You can also help fund the food going into the baskets. A donation of **$19.79 helps provide a Thanksgiving meal for one family**. Whether you give your time, make a donation, or share the opportunity with someone else, you’re helping make this year’s baskets possible. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday evening and building something meaningful together. **[www.htxbasketbrigade.com](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/)** ## Related posts [![](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/hs-fs/hubfs/The%20Best%20Pie%20Recipes%20Instagram%20Post-1.png?height=200&name=The%20Best%20Pie%20Recipes%20Instagram%20Post-1.png)](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/what-to-expect-on-basket-build-day) ## [What to Expect on Basket Build Day!](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/what-to-expect-on-basket-build-day) ![Picture of HTXBasketBrigade](https://app.hubspot.com/settings/avatar/13ec2f9f48d96a5f45c23d48bd22111b) [HTXBasketBrigade](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/htxbasketbrigade/author/htxbasketbrigade) Nov 13, 2024, 8:38:00 AM Thank you for joining HTX Basket Brigade on our mission to spread warmth and gratitude this...
