Make sure to find out the family size and any known health restrictions. Hold community donation drives to gather food and household items.  Historically our list of those in need has exceeded the number of baskets we have to give and therefore we simply don't have enough baskets to give to everyone who asks.  If you are in need we can add you to our* overflow list below in hopes that we have overflow but it doesn't guarantee a basket by any means. * Please share our event on social media.  The more volunteers we have the more baskets we have to give.  It costs nothing to share and promote this event so we humbly ask that you help us grow.   [I want to Nominate a Family](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/nominate-a-family-page) [I want to Request a Basket](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/requestbasket) [facebook-f icon](https://www.facebook.com/HtownBasketBrigade) [linkedin-in icon](https://www.linkedin.com/company/basket-brigade-houston/) [instagram icon](https://www.instagram.com/htxbasketbrigade/) [Follow us on Facebook](https://x.com/htxbasket) [Follow us on Facebook](https://www.linkedin.com/company/basket-brigade-houston) - [Home](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com) - [About](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/about) - [FAQ](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/contact-0) - [Contact](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/contact) - [Requests](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/requests-1) - [Pictures by year](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/media) --- [![](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20201119_115719777_iOS.jpg?width=75&height=75&name=20201119_115719777_iOS.jpg)](https://www.htxbasketbrigade.com/) 2339 Commerce St, Houston, TX 77002 suite 175 Copyright © 2026, HTXBasketBrigade
